1. The Ken River is one of the major rivers of the Bundelkhand region of central India.

3. The Ken River is a tributary of the Yamuna River. It is the last tributary of the Yamuna River before the Yamuna joins the Ganga.

4. The Ken River originates near the village of Ahirgawan on the north-west slopes of the Kaimur Range in the district of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.

5. The Ken River travels a distance of 427 kilometers and then merges with the Yamuna River at Chilla village, near Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh.

6. Out of the total length of the Ken River of 427 kilometers, The Ken River flows for 292 km in Madhya Pradesh, 84 km in Uttar Pradesh, and 51 km forms the boundary between Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

7. Crossing the Bijawar-Panna hills, the Ken River cuts a 60 kilometers long, and 150-180 meters deep gorge. Several streams join the ken in this gorge making waterfalls.

8. The Ken valley separates the Rewa Plateau from the Satna Plateau. The Rewa Plateau covers a portion of Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh.
